“12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God,to those who believe in His name:” John 1:12
The very presence of God TODAY is strangely distant to this modern day generation. In so many ways we are like the covenant people of God who by their own neglect drafted away from the original Foundations of Truth, that the Lord spoke to their father Abraham.
Today our task is to Revisit all of the promises of God to which He gave to us as believers through His Son Jesus Christ. This serious mandate requires our whole hearted passion to please the Lord according to Hebrews 11:1,6 “11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. .. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a re-warder of those who diligently seek Him.”
The time is crucial and disturbingly urgent; let’s strengthen our minds for this season:
1)With Faith in God’s Word “ 15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Tm 2:15
2) By Faithfully Participating in the Church Kingdom work “ 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” Heb 10:25
3) To unite in Praying, Fasting, Tithing, Singing and Witnessing to our Communities, State, and Region. “ 8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me [a] in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8
4) To go wherever the Lord is leading in the Vision of our church fellowship when it comes to the plan and will of God “Go Ye …) Mt 28:19 By now you get an idea of what it is that God is requiring of ALL of US—in serving as Good Stewards in His Kingdom Work.
The Power to Believe is actually demonstrated by our active obedience to serve one another with the Loving embrace of Christ in all we do.
