Utterly Dependent on God

God wants you to utterly depend on Him.  He wants to be your crutch.  When a person has a broken leg, he can’t walk or do much of anything without his crutches.  The simplest things are close to impossible to execute without them.  God wants you to treat him like a pair of crutches.  He wants you to lean on Him with all of your weight and might so He can carry you through life.  He wants to carry you through everything you face in this world.  He doesn’t want your feet to ever touch the ground.  He doesn’t want you to lean on your own understanding or abilities.  “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.” – Proverbs 3:5-6.  He is shaking you; stirring you from your slumber.  You have to wake up and realize that you can do nothing without Him.  “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in Me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without Me ye can do nothing.” – John 15:5.  The desire of God’s heart is to be your everything; your all in all.  Will you allow Him?
